Chairman of Board Credits Company-wide Commitment to Excellence for Honor

ATLANTA – Cumberland Group Chairman of the Board Patrick Hiller won the top Technology Service Provider Award at Atlanta Technology Professionals’ 2020 Awards Gala held virtually Thursday night. The honor is reserved for leadership at a company that provides excellence in technology products or services. This is Hiller’s first ATP award.

“As honored as I am, this is a testament to the standards our colleagues have held to from day one at Cumberland Group,” Hiller said. “Providing complex tech solutions that exceed our clients’ expectations is why we started this company, and it’s what motivates us to continually push ourselves.”

Hiller was one of 28 total finalists in ATP’s five categories that showcase leadership and innovation originating in Georgia. He and five others were nominated for the Technology Service Provider Award.

“Patrick leads by example the core values of this company:  a willingness to listen, commitment to stellar client service, and determination to get it right. Cumberland Group is leading the way because it continues to prioritize clients’ needs, and this award serves as a reminder of that mission,” said Cumberland Group President and COO Joe Corbett.

Alongside Ken Snuggs, Patrick Hiller co-founded Cumberland Group in November 2014 as a consultancy focused on advising global enterprise organizations on ways to harness IT to best manage their unique needs. The Atlanta-based company has grown to include space in Florida with a sales and support presence across the southeast.

Hiller served as vice president at VSS before co-founding Marietta, Ga.-based Abacus Solutions in 2000 with Snuggs. He earned his bachelor of science degree in management from Georgia Tech.

Atlanta Technology Professionals is a non-profit organization that works to provide informative executive insights on industry technology trends. ATP hosts monthly events to facilitate relationships among industry peers. Its annual Awards Gala is recognized as one of Atlanta’s premier annual tech events, showcasing leadership and innovation originating in Georgia.
